Somerset CPAs is pleased to announce that Steve Dobias, CPA, was recently recognized as one of the 127 People to Know in the ASC Industry by Becker's ASC Review.

This recognition stems from Steve's work providing consulting, tax and accounting services for physician groups and hospital systems, as well as initiating the Somerset ancillary services group which facilitates the feasibility, organization, funding and set up of operations for ambulatory surgery centers, medical office buildings and associated ancillaries.

Steve is a principal on Somerset’s Health Care Team and is a frequent speaker on the business of health care at conferences around the country. Steve was named to the Indianapolis Business Journal's "Who's Who Behind the Scenes in Health Care" in 2003. In 2006, Steve served as an Industry Partner advisor to the Health Care Advisory Board for their "Innovation and the Outmigration of Care" publication. Steve is an active member of several accounting and health care professional organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Indiana CPA Society, Medical Group Management Association, Indiana Medical Group Management Association, Federation of Ambulatory Surgical Association, Indiana Federation of Ambulatory Surgical Association and the BONES Society. Steve has been active in the Penrod Society as a Board Member and Treasurer. He has also been active in Hamilton Southeastern Youth Sports. Steve is a past board member of the Beacon Society and Dance Kaleidescope. He is a 1995 graduate of the SKL Opportunity Indianapolis program.
